We’re thrilled to announce a recent update, Journeys will be available in Features for all Jira Service Management Premium and Enterprise customers!
Journeys helps teams streamline complex processes by connecting work items across projects, providing end-to-end visibility, and automating repetitive tasks. With this latest release, we’re introducing several enhancements based on your feedback
You can now set conditions on linked work items based on smart values from the journey parent. This unlocks more dynamic and context-aware journeys, making it easier to tailor workflows to your organisation’s unique needs.
Journeys now supports dependencies that block work items from being created until a specific status of related work items - previously it was only status categories. This ensures that tasks progress in the right order and nothing falls through the cracks.
You can now set Asset values from the journey parent to fields in your linked work items to further power your processes. This allows you to better manage processes such as Onboarding or Off-boarding where Assets data can play a crucial role in personalisation.
We’re excited to share that conditions on triggers will be shipped in the coming week. This will give you even more control over when and how your journeys run. Stay tuned!
We’re also exploring ways to provide views of this work so you can better visualise in-flight journeys, and report on specific parts of a journey.
If you haven’t tried Journeys yet, now is the perfect time to explore how it can transform your team’s processes. We can’t wait to see how you use these new features to power up your workflows! As always, your feedback is invaluable let us know what you think and what you’d like to see next.
