The Scenario:
Imagine if every Elf had to walk all the way to Santa’s big oak desk just to ask, "Where do I find the PTO form?" or "My paycheck is short 5 cookies." The line would wrap around the North Pole, and no toys would get made!
The HR Reality:
In many organizations, HR is buried under an avalanche of direct emails, Slack messages, and "shoulder taps." Employees don't know where to go, so they go everywhere.
The JSM Solution:
The Customer Portal. Think of this as your organization’s festive "Employee Service Center." It’s a single URL where employees can go for everything.
Customize it: Add your company branding and a welcoming winter banner.
Organize it: Group requests logically. Instead of a long list, create groups like "Benefits," "Payroll," "Onboarding," and "General HR."
🎁 Tip of the Day:
Don’t use "Tech Speak" on the portal. An employee shouldn't need to know if their issue is an "Incident" or a "Service Request." They just want to click a button that says "I have a question about my salary." Make the portal language human-centric!
❄️ Let’s chat: Does your organization have a clear "Front Door" for employee requests, or are you still drowning in sticky notes and direct emails? Tell me about your current setup in the comments 👇
