Would love to get access too, we've fully migrated our Product Board backlog and it's hard to navigate it without a tree (Ideas > Feature Groups > Features > Sub-features)
Wow this would be an amazing feature for us to use! Would very much help us organise go2markets where we have operational teams as well as IT and other teams working on bigger projects that all need to align!
Would love to receive access to this feature! As of this week, we are actively starting to use Jira Product Discovery over other tools to see if this better meets our team's needs. We were previously held back on using Jira for this because we use this branching in our planning but were unable to have this setup in JPD. https://autocorp.atlassian.net/
Hi @Tanguy Crusson we were previously using ProductPlan and have been slowly migrated JPD, we have been working with opportunities > Initiatives with a feedback loop through experiments to de-risk the solution. Working with Hierarchies has been very useful to link all this work together but now we want to make it more visual for our various teams. Especially as we are working with software, hardware and embedded systems, we have a lot of teams to align for shared work it would be great to have early access to this feature.
We would use this for many things. First thing would be a better way to view the relationship between Business Cases, Capabilities, Products, and Scenarios. We tried building something like that, but got quickly stuck, realizing we needed a tree-type view.
Great news! We'd love access to tree view as we leverage the opportunity solutions tree. Right now we have to show that full link from objectives to opportunity by link all 3 together. This should help reduce that workload long term.
Use Case: We have been using JPD for a bit no, but effectively to prioritize a feature list. We are actively in the process of moving to outcome based planning and roadmaps and utilizing OSTs to support that. This feature comes at a great time for us as we were just noting how inconvenient it is to build these out in places like Miro where there is no linking/integration. We will absolutely provide feedback as we start to leverage the capability!
Would like to get acces to the tree view. At that way we can easily see the project features and stories in one understandable view for everyone. our site: https://van-vulpen.atlassian.net
Hi @Tanguy Crusson We'd love access to the tree view - We're currently using it as Strategic Objectives > Roadmap Item > Team's Work > Customer Request(s). Happy to provide feedback.
I would like access to try this @Tanguy Crusson if possible. I think this will help me communicate dependencies with various business units in the team. I organize Ideas with dependencies for dwsquencing that would be interesting to see in this manner. I currently have a python script I use to visualize them as a graph.
Thanks for sharing. We would love to try out the new tree view and see if it works for us.
We frequently have major new products or features to release which require a more granular roadmap than one idea (think of it as initiative + epics) and all of those sub ideas (e.g. epics) need to have their own ideas because they have their own teams, dependencies, and timeline. Another example is iterations of a new feature (e.g. v0.1, v0.2...) to get to the planned v1.0.
We run product discovery and have been structuring ideas as **Strategic Outcomes → Opportunities → Solutions**. Today we stitch that picture together manually for leadership and partner reviews. A tree view would let us show how discovery work ladders up to strategic bets across all three products in one place. Very interested in the multi-type-per-level support and the upcoming roll-up fields.
Our teams are using JPD to track work across the full PDLC and provide visibility into our roadmap at each stage for stakeholders. We'd love to stitch our solutions/ideas back to opportunities and goals and provide a view(s) that clearly represents this relationship in a stronger, more visual way; something we've struggles with to date in JPD.
I'd love to get access for the team at Toast! We have teams that need to do longer-range planning, and teams that want to track higher-level initiatives with larger, incremental milestones, and this functionality would be amazing for that.
I would love to try this out with our product teams. https://extraspace.atlassian.net/ I need a way to visualize how one item impacts and aligns with higher level initiatives and themes. The tree view could help us do that. This could help with our OKR alignment as well.
I would like to try out the tree view too. We are already implementing hierarchy with problem - solution - assumption mapping in JPD and the tree view would make this so much easier for us to visualise.
We are using Product discovery to manage a program of work that crosses both Product and Engineering, and Operations - the tree view would be a great tool both for planning and visually communicating with stakeholders.
My team has been using FigJam to create and maintain our OSTs while simultaneously moving our product documentation into JPD, so we would love the chance to try this new feature and keep everything, including our OSTs, within the JPD ecosystem. Our URL is https://tekmetric.atlassian.net/
We currently use the Hierarchies feature in JPD and create Opportunity Solution Trees in Miro. We would love to use the Tree view to move the OSTs into JPD and maintain all of those connections in one place. Thanks!
@Tanguy Crusson can I please have access to this feature? Our product management team has been long awaiting the capability to map out opportunity solution trees in JPD!
This is an awesome update! thank you @Tanguy Crusson We would love to be able to try this out and also have access to(when possible) the hierarchies in the timeline view. our site terraquantum.atlassian.net
