Unable to restore deleted issues

I just want to say that the fact that you are unable to restore deleted issues without an addon is completely ridiculous. I just deleted the history in two of my projects while I was in another project using the search to bulk delete all. 

There should be absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be able to restore deleted items and the fact that Jira doesn't have this built in is mind boggling. Thanks Jira for allowing me to lose a months worth of data because your team is too lazy to add a recycle bin feature.

Did you delete a project or specific issues?

If you deleted a project you could get it back from the recycle bin.

I did not delete an entire project.

Repro steps:

1. Navigate to your project

2. Navigate to "Advanced Issue Search" page

3. Click on the dots to select "Bulk Change"

4. Click the checkbox on the top to select all issues at once

5. Press Next

6. Toggle "Delete Issues"

7. Press "Next"

8. Press "Next" again

9. Press "Confirm"

10. Cry
