New promotional campaign added to menus - taking space and forcing users to scroll through the menus
Atlassian has pushed out a new "feature" in the Apps dropdown menu for both Jira and Confluence. This added "feature" us nothing more than a marketing campaign to promote products.
This additional menu item means users now have to scroll through the dropdown to see the apps we actually have installed instead of the promoted apps.
We did not ask for this, and we are paying for our tools to provide a free marketing campaign platform for Atlassian.
A Suggestion has been submitted that would allow the Admin to remove this section from the dropdown. Please help push this Suggestion forward by adding your vote to the Suggestion - RemoveMarketingCampaign
