If you accidentally deleted the issue in Jira, native Jira functionality allows you to restore the issues only if you have a backup of your Jira instance. In that case, you can restore your backup to another Cloud instance, export the issues as CSV, and import it into your instance.
But, using the User Activity Audit Log addon it can be restored directly in your instance and to the same project!
To start restoring the process for deleted issues, you only need to install User Activity Audit Log.
After the installation, there will also be logged actions for issues, user activities, global permission changes, and asset object logs.
In the detail view of the application, if the issue is deleted you will see a log for it:
This will restore the issue with all the fields. Issue comments, history, and work log will not be restored. You can only restore the issues that were deleted after the app was installed.
Using the Restore deleted issue button, you can restore the issue; the only difference between the original and restored issues will be Key!
Here you can also see the full documentation of the application.
