Hey Jira Admins!
Weâre back with round 4 of Jira Admin Connect, and this one is all about you and the impact youâre making every day â often quietly, often behind the scenes.
Over the first three rounds, we heard a consistent theme in feedback:
âI love hearing how other admins work! It inspires me to try new approaches.â
So this time, weâre leaning all the way into that. In honor of Valentineâs Day, this roundâs theme is all about celebrating yourselves and sharing your impact. â¤ď¸
Youâll be matched for a 1:1 conversation with another Jira admin later this month so you can swap stories, compare notes, and walk away with new ideas (and hopefully a bit more appreciation for just how much you do). As usual, we'll supply you with a few optional discussion starters, and you and your match can take it from there!

Mentor and learn from each other
Share whatâs working (and what isnât)
Get inspired by real-life approaches from other organizations
For this round, we suggest your conversations focus specifically on the impact you have as an adminâwhether people notice it or not. If your conversations stray into other areas, no sweat! We just want to provide a jump start for discussion.
Here are some of the prompts weâll share in your connection calendar invites to spark your conversation:
If your team wrote you a âlove letterâ about how youâve helped them, what would be in it?
Think: What processes, dashboards, or âsmallâ tweaks have made a big difference for your teams?
Whatâs a behindâtheâscenes change youâve made that nobody noticed, but absolutely improved things?
Think: performance fixes, workflow cleanups, smarter permissions, Plans tweaks, automation, or anything that quietly made everyoneâs life easier.
How do you advocate for yourself and your work as an admin (with managers, teams, leadership)?
Think: How do you make the invisible work visible? Whatâs helped you get recognition, buy-in, or more realistic expectations?
Whatâs one step you can take this year to make your admin work (and its importance!) more visible?
Think: A regular changelog, demos, office hours, Jira Plans views for leadership, reports â whatâs one thing you want to experiment with?
What's one Rovo (or AI) trick that's allowed you to work more efficiently?
You donât need to prep or have perfect answers; the goal is to learn from each other and walk away with at least one new idea you can try.
Weâll share prompt ideas so youâre never stuck on âso⌠where do we start?â
Sign-ups open: February 10, 2026
Connection conversations will be sent for the timing you choose on either February 24, 25, or 26 (note: you and your match are welcome to reschedule as needed, once the initial invites are sent)
