💌 Admin love letters: Celebrate your impact in Jira Admin Connect, round 4

Hey Jira Admins!

We’re back with round 4 of Jira Admin Connect, and this one is all about you and the impact you’re making every day — often quietly, often behind the scenes.

Over the first three rounds, we heard a consistent theme in feedback:

“I love hearing how other admins work! It inspires me to try new approaches.”

So this time, we’re leaning all the way into that. In honor of Valentine’s Day, this round’s theme is all about celebrating yourselves and sharing your impact. ❤️

You’ll be matched for a 1:1 conversation with another Jira admin later this month so you can swap stories, compare notes, and walk away with new ideas (and hopefully a bit more appreciation for just how much you do). As usual, we'll supply you with a few optional discussion starters, and you and your match can take it from there!

🎉 Ready to get started now? Sign up here!

If you’re new to the program and want to learn a little more, here's what it’s all about:

The Jira Admin Connect program creates space for admins to:

  • Mentor and learn from each other

  • Share what’s working (and what isn’t)

  • Get inspired by real-life approaches from other organizations

For this round, we suggest your conversations focus specifically on the impact you have as an admin—whether people notice it or not. If your conversations stray into other areas, no sweat! We just want to provide a jump start for discussion.

Here are some of the prompts we’ll share in your connection calendar invites to spark your conversation:

  • If your team wrote you a ‘love letter’ about how you’ve helped them, what would be in it?

    • Think: What processes, dashboards, or “small” tweaks have made a big difference for your teams?

  • What’s a behind‑the‑scenes change you’ve made that nobody noticed, but absolutely improved things?

    • Think: performance fixes, workflow cleanups, smarter permissions, Plans tweaks, automation, or anything that quietly made everyone’s life easier.

  • How do you advocate for yourself and your work as an admin (with managers, teams, leadership)?

    • Think: How do you make the invisible work visible? What’s helped you get recognition, buy-in, or more realistic expectations?

  • What’s one step you can take this year to make your admin work (and its importance!) more visible?

    • Think: A regular changelog, demos, office hours, Jira Plans views for leadership, reports — what’s one thing you want to experiment with?

  • What's one Rovo (or AI) trick that's allowed you to work more efficiently?

You don’t need to prep or have perfect answers; the goal is to learn from each other and walk away with at least one new idea you can try.

How it all goes down

You'll complete a brief survey to be matched 1:1 with another Jira admin through our matching tool.

  • We’ll share prompt ideas so you’re never stuck on “so… where do we start?”

When it’s happening

Sign-ups open: February 10, 2026

  • You’ll indicate your meeting availability during sign-up, and we’ll handle the matching.
  • Connection conversations will be sent for the timing you choose on either February 24, 25, or 26 (note: you and your match are welcome to reschedule as needed, once the initial invites are sent)

Who this is for

This is for you if:

  • You’re a Jira admin (new, experienced, or somewhere in between!)

  • You want to swap real-world stories with someone who understands your work

  • You’re curious how other admins communicate their impact

Whether you’re the lone admin at your company or part of a bigger team, this is a low-pressure way to grow your network and feel less alone in the role.

How to join:

👉 Fill out a few details here about:

  • Your background as an admin

  • Your availability for a 1:1

We’ll do the rest of the work behind the scenes and send you your match! Have fun and enjoy your conversations!
