Will disabling an ideation group cause us to lose submitted ideas?

We have completed an idea gathering campaign using Jira Align's Ideation module and we want to close the campaign to further submissions. We still need to triage and work through all of the submitted ideas and will eventually turn some of these into work tasks. I see that we can disable an ideation group, but I just want to be sure that doing so will not result in us losing the ideas collected in that group. Thanks in advance!

The Ideas in a disabled Groups will not be deleted.  If you re-enable the Group, the Ideas will be intact.  The challenge is viewing Ideas from disabled Groups.  You cannot view them in the Idea backlog or on the main Ideation list view.  You CAN access through the API however.  {{base_JA_url}}/Ideas?$filter=groupId eq 9
