Why aren't the Epic name updates in Jira syncing to Jira Align?

When I update the epic name in Jira, it doesn't come over to Jira Align. But if the update is made in Jira Align, it will come over. We have bidirectional sync for epics turned on. I'm wondering if there are specific triggers that kick off the sync but I haven't been able to find those in the documentation.

Thanks! So it sounds like I need to trigger the sync but updating something like the status?

Yes, start by updating something like the description and see if that works.  if that works, you might be able to bulk update in Jira to force the sync or have you Jira Align Admin force a sync from the Jira Align side.
