My customer has updated a feature in Jira to belong to another project but this is not syncing into Jira Align. There are no errors in the logs specific to this feature. The connection has been 'resynced' but I'm not too sure where else to go and look.
Help would be appreciated
Pls. check if both the Jira projects mapped to Jira Align: 1) Jira project, which has Features (Jira Epics) 2) Jira Project, which has Stories.
To build on what Vinay mentioned, if you move the Feature to a project that is not integrated in Jira Align, the issue will still show up in Jira Align (won't be automatically removed) - you'll need to manually delete/cancel it in Jira Align (make sure that check the issue in Jira after you do this because there is technically still a link with the issue, and based on the permissions on the new project it's possible that the issue will get updated in Jira when you do this).

When Features (Jira Epics) are integrated between Jira and Jira Align they can ONLY be integrated to ONE Jira project AND still get updates.
While it is POSSIBLE to integrate a feature to more than one Jira project, doing so breaks/stops the integration update.
ANYTIME an issue is integrated to more than one Jira project this STOPS ALL future synchronization between Jira and Jira Align. This is documented in the Jira Align - Jira Integration Guide.
All that said, there are best practice standards that have been used to allow multiple teams (projects) in jira to share a single integrated feature without breaking the integration.
