How to create refresh schedule on extracts from Enterprise Insights

I am publishing to tableau cloud, and I can't seem to get the EI extract to refresh in tableau cloud. I tried publishing the data source and testing the EI connection from there but that didn't work. I also tried publishing the workbook, embedding the permissions within both published workbook and published data source. still did not work. Do I have to install tableau bridge client?

I'm not familiar with the Tableau refresh schedule however it might be worth checking Schedule Refreshes on Tableau Cloud.

If the problem you're facing is establishing the connection between Tableau and EI, I'd recommend you raise a support ticket so we can collect additional information to better assist you.
