Does the Sprint Capacity report tie into this functionality or are they entirely separate?

While reviewing the article "Introducing enhanced capacity management and insights" I was wondering if the Sprint Capacity report ties into determining the average velocity that is populated in the Capacity Plan.

@Regina Skaggs You can see the velocity number on the sprint capacity report but it doesn't really take any information from this report directly.  The team velocity is the average of the accepted points for the last 5 completed sprints (excluding IP sprints).
