Correcting stories canceled in error

Hi there,

It is very common at my site for someone to drag a story to the right column in Jira, but accidentally drop it into canceled instead of Done. If this then syncs with Align, it will (obviously) get canceled there as well. 

I ran into situations where people would see the error they made and then move the item back out of Canceled and then immediately to Done. The problem with this is the connector doesn't pick this up properly, as the item is canceled in Align. I see the same sort of problem when they mark it as closed but want it to be Canceled.

What I did to keep this from happening is to restrict the ability to move out of Done or Canceled to be an administrative function via workflow, I will move the item back to In Progress, wait for it to sync, and then let them do with it what they want.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a better way to do this?
