  1. In the Product Room, what is the LOE (Level Of Effort)?  What does that exactly mean?
  2. What is the difference between value, effort, and points in Jira Align?
  3. Do points map into effort from Jira to Jira Align? If not, how do points get mapped in Jira Align?
  4. Who defines each (value, effort, and points) in Jira Align?
  5. Does this get calculated in other areas like capacity screens in Jira Align?
  6. What's the source of the data, Jira?  Or is this standalone in Jira Align?
  7. If they update in Jira Align, does it go back to Jira?  Does it have value?
  8. Who from the business would go into a story to assign a value?  Or are we saying a Product Owner should do that?  Teams are working in Jira. Will points come over to Jira Align and then the effort and value are blank?  Can you explain how it works?
  9. If we ignore effort, then does that impact some other screen somewhere else?

Hello and Welcome @Montoya Andrews

That as a Start.

Jira and Jira Align Integration: Issue, Story, and... - Atlassian Community

To keep that short, Jira teams estimate work in Jira using Story Points. Jira Align receives that as LOE/effort. Product/business users define value in Jira Align. Jira Align then uses both effort and value in reporting.
