Can we sum-up customized field with numeric values in Jira Align

Hi there, in our Jira Align, we want to track how many man/days for each Epic (due to need to track out-sourced effort). So we will create a new customized field (for example: Epic Effort) in Jira Epic, and then in the upper level: Feature (Requriement hierarchy: Feature->Epic->Story), we want to show the sum-up value and then show the sum-up value in Feature's new cusotmized field "Total Epic Effort". For the new fields created for Epic and Feature, I know it can. But for sum-up Epic Effort together and show it in Feature's field of "Total Epic Effort", Jira Align can support it or not? In summary, Jira Align can support to sum-up the customized field with numeric value?

This is not supported natively but could be accomplished using the API.

You would need to write an application that makes calls to Jira Aligns' public API. This "application" could be as simple as a user-developed Postman or cURL script or as complex as a batch job developed using your organization's approved processes.

Are you familiar with Postman?   I could provide an example in Postman.

The app also allows you to view your project issue hierarchy in a tree view. You can view %complete progress at each parent level. It roll ups the time tracking fields, story point or custom numeric fields at each parent level.
