We’re excited to announce that creating surveys with Rovo in Jira Service Management is now available for paid plans. With Rovo, teams can create surveys faster by simply describing their goal and audience, then reviewing a best-practice draft that is ready to refine and publish.
Built on native surveys in Jira Service Management, this capability helps employee-facing teams capture feedback directly alongside the requests, projects and services they manage every day.
Rovo removes the blank-page problem from survey creation. Tell Rovo what you want to learn and who the survey is for, and it drafts respectful, relevant questions that you can review in a live preview.
You can still use templates, make quick edits in the survey builder, refine the draft by chatting with Rovo, and publish when you’re ready with no code required.
How it works:
Open Surveys in Jira Service Management: From the space navigation on the left, select Surveys.
Create with Rovo: Select Create survey, then Create with Rovo.
Describe your goal and audience: Enter a prompt, or start with one of the ready-to-use prompts available to select.
Review and refine: Rovo drafts a survey preview. If you want to make changes, chat with Rovo and the preview updates accordingly.
Create your survey: Once you’re happy, select Create survey. Your new survey is created in draft status by default, so you can continue editing and publish when you’re ready.
You can also create a survey using Ask Rovo in the top navigation on your site. Select Ask Rovo, enter /create-survey, describe your goal and audience, then continue refining the draft with Rovo as needed.
Imagine your workplace services or HR team wants to understand whether employees have the right setup to work comfortably and safely, whether they’re in the office, at home, or in a hybrid arrangement. You can ask Rovo to draft an ergonomic assessment survey tailored to different work environments and employee needs.
Rovo can help draft clear, practical questions that uncover needs like chair and desk comfort, monitor height, keyboard and mouse setup, lighting, noise levels, and any equipment or adjustments employees may need. Your team can then review the responses, prioritise follow-up actions, and track improvements in Jira Service Management.
Create surveys with Rovo is available for Jira Service Management Cloud paid plans.
A site admin must enable Rovo on your Atlassian site before teams can use Rovo to create surveys. To learn more, read Use Rovo across your Organization.
