Knowing the size of your instance is important in estimating and planning for your instance's growth. It also helps Atlassian Technical Account Managers and support engineers better tailor their recommendations for your environment. 

To help you estimate your instance's size, we narrowed down the most useful sizing metrics for Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Next, we created a set of profiles (or size tiers) for each product's metrics, ranging from Small to XLarge. Each profiles is based on a wide range of real-life instances covering different infrastructure sizes and configurations. 

Last month, we shared some standard size profiles (or tiers) we created for Jira, along with guidelines on where your instance fits. Check out the following pages for our Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket size profiles:
