the "Writing User Macros" isn't working ... can't see how to create a user macro

HI Forum,

I've a really simple task , i want to embed the current pages version into the page.  I can play for a plugin but i thought a custom user macro would be the best option.  But i can't see how to create a custom macro and the Atlassian page isn't working for me ,,, the images aren't displayed

if you pop along to the support page , i get "Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include'"

Hi @Spencer Hudson

In Cloud you can't write user macro's, you would have to bult your own forge app.

The page you are referring to is voor on-premise installations.

You could use the macro, change-history

thanks , i thought i might be missing something obvious.

i've been using the /change history macro , it would be perfect if you could define whats displayed. for example : last version number only, version history all , version history x items

thanks again

Hi @Spencer Hudson !

In case you are using Confluence macros, I can also recommend that you look at this article: 5 Most Useful Jira Macros in Confluence (With Practical Use Cases)

Hope you find some useful info there.
