I have some videos that I would like to include in various pages in Confluence.  These videos can be anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes long and in a high-as-possible resolution.  The problem I have with the multimedia macro is that you have to download the plugin and there are various other little issues with it such as sizing, etc...  Is there a better option or plugin for this?  I realize I can add these to YouTube but I would like to add them directly to confluence using a better option than the macro.  Any thoughts?

Hi Justin,

you could use the "HTML"-Macro and use HTML5 functionality to display e.g. attachments of a page as video.

Insert following code into HTML-Macro:

<video width="70%" controls="controls"> <source src="https://confluence.yourdomain.tld/download/attachments/123456789/Attachment_Name.mp4?api=v2" type="video/mp4"></source> </video>

Hope this helps?

Cheers, Mario
