Hi Atlassian Team, would you please enable legacy editor for my site?
My site: https://tim-sein-jira.atlassian.net/
Thank you so much!
Hi @Tim Pfeifer
While it is still possible to request the use of the legacy editor within Confluence cloud, this is not possible to do for sites that are using our Free subscription plans.
You could upgrade your subscription to a paid plan or start an evaluation trial of a paid subscription of Confluence. Once that has happened, you can then create a support case over in https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
Creating a technical support case for Confluence on that page will direct your request to the support team that can help you here.
Regards,
Andy
Sorry, but how stupid can a company be?
I'm looking into confluence to eventually recomment it to the company i'm working for. It didn't take me halfe an hour to run into serious problems with creating documentation because confluence can't handle numbered lists propertly.
After that I've put hours and hours of research into how to solve this problem just to find, that the problem is known to Atlassian for over three years and no one get's the idea to change anything with the new editor.
Now it took almost 3 weeks for someone from the Atlassian team answer my question here and with that to destroy the last hope I had for confluence - it just seems like you guys don't want to have me...
I'm seriously disappointed with how Astlassian is handling this - I really wanted to give it a chance and was looking forward to using confluence but what I have seen so far makes me afraid of working with any products a company like this is responsible for.
Sorry atlassian, but you have lost me as a potential customer...

Hi @Tim Pfeifer ,
Welcome to the community !!
You need to reach out to Atlassian Support in https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ for this change.
Before that I would suggest to read about the feature comparison between two editors.
and this one too: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-articles/Change-to-your-content-is-in-your-hands/ba-p/1324476

Hi @Rilwan Ahmed ,
https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ redirectst me to this page since i'm on the free cloud version.
Other people got help on this side as well: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Requesting-legacy-editor/qaq-p/2074988
I have already read both of the pages you're linking too - but both do not make the new editor able to handle numbered lists as it should be - which is why it's useless for me...

in my understanding, you - as an community leader - can mark this post for Atlassian review, as it seems to have been done in this case: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-questions/Get-Legacy-editor-in-Confluence-Cloud-Instance/qaq-p/2015466
Is this something you can do?
Haven't been contacted by anyone from the Atlassian team despite that this post is almost 2 weeks old now...
