Reorder pages option disappeared, lost pages

Reorder pages disappeared so now how do I see orphaned pages in a space?

I wanted to merge two pages together so

I moved pages out of a space, then deleted space.

But then was told there were more pages.(that we lost forever :( )

I did not see them because reorder pages is no longer there!

very frustrating!
