Powerpoint presentations display on our site for others. For mine, it only renders as blank image. My workaround was to create my own 'thumbnail' as an image I uploaded and then linked the image to the file that is uploaded. However, I want the users to be able to preview.
It is a protected pptx where everyone can 'READ'. Don't know if that makes a difference.
I looked at the way others created their pptx links and looks like they simply created the link and used a thumbnail. Everything works as expected.
So - could it be my pptx is protected? On other sites like Teams, it works fine.
