Page title disappears when used in spaces from my Global page template

Our page templates show the Page title normally. I have just recreated a new page. The title is in the template when edited and in the template when I do a preview. But then when they are used by teams to create the Page in their space the Page Title has disappeared. Page Title has always been ok but with these recreated page templates something is wrong?

Is there a setting or something I have missed? or is this a bug I need to get around?
