Does anyone have any pointers to some off-the-shelf templates to build a public facing knowledgeable on top of confluence? What comes out of the box feels more like an intranet versus what I am looking for
We have templates for pretty much every business function we do. Some are very simple and some are very complicated. For the simple ones, we just start off with the things we think we need, set up tables, use the "instructional text" feature, add bullets where we expect bulleted lists, etc. As we find a need to change things, we keep adding to the template until it becomes steady state. The initial "blank page problem" is a little challenging to overcome, but once you have something basic, it's easy to change.
I'm not aware of any library that you can just copy & paste from, unfortunately. You might copy & paste one of the default templates and modify it. That way you at least start with some structure. I hope that helps.
Thanks Dave. Yeah was really looking for an off-the-shelf solution to deploy an external facing knowledge base. I figured there might be one, but could not find anything at all. Appreciate the help.
