Is there a way to populate a new default Space permissions group

Is there a way to populate a new default Space permissions group

Into already existing Confluence spaces.

We now have an AD providing Confluence access and it is in the Default Space Permissions of Space permissions.

But other than retrospectively added it to all existing Spaces, is there a way to force the new set of Default Space Permissions into the existing spaces?
