Is there a way to display labels next to search results?

We want labels to be displayed on each line of the search results, similar to how the results display what space a page is within.

We're already aware of the Label dropdown to search by a specific label, but that's not helpful to us, because a user first has to know to use that dropdown, and then know what labels there are to search for them.

Instead we're looking for being able to type in the search box and of the results that are returned, visually display which labels are on them as a way to categorize to help a user in selecting the right page.

Any ideas where to start?

Hi @Lisa Brown

Out-of-the-box, I don't believe there is - there are macros which could visualise the content by label on a Space's home page (for example) - see Content by Label Macro

Aside from that, one of the answers on this question (click here) seems to suggest you could edit the global template for your Confluence instance which might be of use here - although it's not something I've tried!
