Is there a way for a task or subtask to be shown as a subset of a user story in Jira?

I'd like to break down the user story into tasks/subtasks and be able to see what's under each story.  Right now, the task just shows on the backlog but I can't connect it to a specific user story. I have the Scrum version of Confluence.

Any pointers?

Hi @Sanoj Eapen,

You can create sub-task under the story.  So on the board the sub tasks will be shown under the story.

Thanks. When I look at my backlog, I can't see the subtask.  I have to actually go into the story to see that there's a subtask for it.

Unless I am not linking it correctly?
