I need to export pages as a PDF several times a week. I successfully did so on Aug 13th but today (Aug 17th) I am getting the same error for every page. I've already tried logging out and in, clearing cookies and creating a new small page with just a single word on it.
I've checked https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/ and everything is Operational.
Anyone else experienced this?
Hi @Katie Manning @Mark Dsouza ,
I also tried exporting content to PDF today, and same as German said.. everything works for me. Either single content exports or single/multi content exports via the space export feature. 👀
All of that being said, if you're on a paid plan, you can reach out to Atlassian Support for them to check your site specifically. If you're on a free plan, the fastest way to get support would be to simply start free trial for Standard or Premium, raise a ticket and then switch back to Free plan once it has been resolved. 🎟️
Cheers,
Tobi
Thanks for following up.
It was confirmed to be an outstanding issue yesterday (Aug 17) in here -- Export to PDF -- but it is currently (Aug 18) now working.

Looks like a recent issue but not really resolved yet: Solved: When I try to export a Confluence doc to a PDF, I ...

Getting a similar problem right now that started last week.
This is what I've tried and failed:
1. Export a regular page
2. Export an empty page with just a title on it
3. Ask another user to export a regular page
4. Tried different spaces under the same Confluence site
5. Tried the above in Edge browser. Then tried #1 in Chrome

Hi @Katie Manning,
I have just tested a single-page PDF export on another Confluence Cloud site and it completed successfully, so the problem is not affecting every site. Since your new one-word page also fails, this is unlikely to be caused by the content of one specific page.
Ask another user on the same site to export that test page, and repeat the test in another supported browser or a private window. If only your account fails, it points to an account or browser-specific problem. If multiple users are affected, ask a space or site admin to review any global or space-level PDF stylesheet customizations, as an unsupported customization can cause the export process to fail.
If the simple test page still fails for multiple users with no PDF customization applied, provide the content ID, approximate failure time, and screenshot privately to Atlassian Support. The PDF export documentation recommends contacting Support when export errors persist.
