How do I delete a cell in a table?

I am editing a table on an existing page and accidentally added a new cell.  For the life of me, I can't figure out how to delete just that added cell and not the entire row or column.  Also ctrl-Z does not undo the add.  Can anyone help with this?

I usually do it on the editing mode and then an option will come up to remove cells, columns as well as add them
