I would like a specifc group who has access to a wiki space to only have permission to a certain page and it's child pages. The wiki space has a lot of pages under it's home page and was wondering if there was an easy way to get this group permission to these pages.
The only way to really do this is to create a couple groups. You have your full access group and your limited access group. Both group should have view acces to the space. The pages that you limited access group can view should be immediate children of the space home page. Such as below.
Space Home Page | |Page 1 (Everyonce can view this page and its children) | |Page 1 Child 1 | |Page 1 Child 2 |Page 2 (Only certain people can view this and its children) | |Page 2 Child 1 | |Page 2 Child 2 |Page 3 (Only certain people can view this and its children) |Page 3 Child 1 |Page 3 Child 2
Then put a viewing restriction on Page 2 and Page 3 for the all access group. This will restrict viewing of those pages and their children to the all access group and the limited access group will only see the pages that do not have a restriction applied. This is the only way to do this, to my knowledge, with the way Confluence does page permissions.
