Hide "Created by" label when already hid page author name and personalize timestamp prefix

Lorenzo Ianes September 25, 2019

Following link

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-hide-content-author-name-created-by-in-a-page-701600769.html

I have hid the page author name but remains visible the label "Created by" so I produce the dummy results

"Created by yesterday at 4:40 PM"

When I want omit the author name, is meaningless leave the label "Created by" visible.

Therefore it would be better hide "Created by" too when author name has been hidden.

Once I be able to hide the "created by" string, I will obtain a still unpleasant

" yesterday at 4:40 PM" without any "intorductory" text.

How can I personalize a string to put before the timestamp as for instance "Last modified on" or "Last publish on"?

Thanks in advance everybody for help.

Hello Lorenzo,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you here.

A similar discussion can be found here: How to hide the "Created By/Edited By" byline at the top of a page.

There are several solutions there, including a way to hide the line completely, or to edit your site's source files and change how it appears in your page decorator.

Before making any of these changes, be sure to create a full site backup.

Let us know if you have any trouble with that.

Regards,

Shannon
