I have created a new confluence page and when I try to publish the page I am getting the error 'There was an error processing the request'. There are no further details about this error.

Is there anyway of finding out the details of the error?

Kind regards

Lisa Counsell

Hi @Lisa Counsell,

There can be multiple reasons for the error you mentioned while publishing a page in Confluence - @mentions linked to deactivated/deleted accounts in the page, macros used in the page, having multiple tables Or a browser issue.

Sometimes doing one of the following might work:

  • Copy all the content (Cntrl/Command + A), paste it in the same page (Cntrl/Command + V) and publish it.
    Or
  • Copy the page to a different location, make the required changes and publish it.

Hope this helps!

Also, here is a link to a similar question with possible solutions and links.

Thanks

Sireesha
