Hello,
I am new to Confluence. I have downloaded/installed/configured the 30 day trial relatively easily. I am currently evaluating products to replace SharePoint Workspaces (collaborative spaces for teams to share data and work on projects together.)
There are two features I require that I am not finding natively in Confluence.
1). I need to have sites auto-delete after a certain period of time. I have found information regarding an Archiving plugin that is purchased separately, but that is added cost on top of the Confluence license. Is there any way to handle this natively?
2). I need to be able to set size limitations on Spaces. After quite a bit of Googling, I'm not finding any way to do this either.
Thanks for any information you can provide.
Confluence does not have any native functionality for what you are asking.
1. There are plugins for this. A good thread here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Deleting-Confluence-pages-automatically-after-a-certain-period/qaq-p/68432
2. No plugins for this that I know of. There is a thread here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-6415 that talks about a plugin someone is offering but it was back in 2008.
Thanks Brant! That is in line with what I was seeing as well, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
