Dear Team,

I was wondering if here is now a solution to this thread https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Can-multiple-JIRA-instances-use-ONE-Confluence/qaq-p/683604

In my company we have different divisions who would like their own instances but still have a seamless approach to other instances.

So one instance will be a generally managed instance by I.T (e.g Instance A while the other instances B-D) will be managed by the Business units.

What the Business will like is a seamless business experience where they can jump from A to B to B to C or A without knowing they are moving from one instance to the other.

Please advice how feasible this is.

Questions that was raised--

  1. Can we see the whole structure seamlessly?
  2. Can one JIRA reference the other JIRA seamlessly?
  3. Can Confluences see each other seamlessly?
  4. Can JIRAs and Confluences reference each other?

Please advice.

Thanks

Hi @Ibiere Addez,

You can link any numbers of JIRA to Confluence server but it should be a different access/base URL.

You may refer to the document Linking to Another Application for details about how to configure your application links on Confluence.
