Automation DataBase structure description

Hello, everyone. I have task to describe structure of big quantity of DBs and trying to automate this process. It wasn't big deal to get data structure, save it, compare current structure with previous one and get difference, but i've stucked with publishing this process in confluence - don't understand how to paste and update table in page. I've created page template and don't understand what kind of variable type choose for table paste in page.
Please, explane me how to do that or give a hint how to insert and update excel table in page.
