Alternative for knowledge base other than Confluence

For Jira Service Desk, are JSD allow us to integrate with other alternative knowledge Base ?

Yes and no

No because Jira has no way to understand how systems other than Confluence might provide knowlege-base functions.

But yes, because it had a public API that the non-confluence systems could use.
