Hey!

We are looking for a way to introduce more complex versioning of Confluence pages and have come up with a couple of ideas for now. Does anybody investigated / tried anything similar? 

Unfortunately, the native mechanism is not very convenient to use as we may have a lot of simultaneous updates and will need to go one by one to compare the changes.. 

We also tried to use macros for versioning, something like on the example below (taken from Atlassian).

Does anybody have maybe any other ideas?

This touches on why Confluence isn't an enterprise CMS. It sounds like what you need is a like for like comparison between versions. That would allow you to see exactly what has been added, removed, or amended. Unfortunately I've not come across that functionality in Confluence.
