Offline Mode for Confluence Mobile

Hi all! I’m excited to share that the Confluence mobile app now supports offline mode, so you can access your team’s knowledge without an internet connection.

Previously, opening Confluence while offline or losing connection made it hard or impossible to reach needed content. Travelers, commuters, field workers, and anyone in low‑connectivity areas often couldn’t access crucial information when they needed it.

Now you can save Confluence pages in the mobile app for offline viewing. Your team’s knowledge stays with you on flights, in tunnels, on remote sites, or anywhere signal is limited.

Offline mode lets you save content ahead of time and read it later without Wi‑Fi or cellular service.

A few things to know about the experience:

  • Saved offline content updates when you're connected, so you can access a recent version later

  • When viewing a page offline, a banner shows you're offline and when the page was last updated

  • Some content types and features, like comments and certain macros, aren't fully supported offline

  • Very large pages may be unavailable for offline saving

To get started:

  1. Update to the latest Confluence mobile app.

  2. Open the page, blog, or live doc you want to keep available.

  3. Tap the more menu and choose Save offline

  4. Access saved content later from the shortcuts menu, online or offline

This release is part of our work to make the Confluence mobile app a more useful everyday companion, whether you’re at your desk or on the move without reliable service.

We will keep improving this feature—please comment below to share feedback and help steer the future of offline mode for Confluence mobile.
