Confluence new page creator is terrible

The new page creator has slowed down my progress and made my pages look terrible. Namely the way that we have to interact with tables now is horrible. I it was quicker and easier with the toolbar at the top and the ability to resize the table the way we wanted. I was able to create wonderful templates before using tables. I like more control not less.

Just tried setting up my first table.

Wow, that was a bad experience. No resizing handles, no ability to resize pictures within cells, not able to switch off cell borders, no way to resize the entire table. The list goes on...

Please go buy a company to provide a better page editor than this. I was trying to wean my company off Sharepoint but I can't show them this.
