What does the initial job role selection do?

What does the initial job role selection do?

When a user first accesses Compass they are presented with this choice:

What is the practical impact of this selection (and is there any way to change your mind)? We haven't found any documentation for it.

Hello again, @Keith Furnell !

While that selection helps us understand Compass' audience better, currently your experience would not be modified regarding the role that you choose when initializing Compass for the first time. So feel free to select the option that better fits your persona, and don't worry if your selection is not very precise!
