Restrict access to components

We are working with different customers in a single Jira instance.

Now we plan to use Compass.

But it seems that the access to a certain component cannot be restricted. It seem it is visable globally across the whole instance. Is there any way to restrict user access to a defined set of components?

Hi @Victor Klüber ,

I know that Compass Premium has permission policies, but this is also only for restricting component editing and administration.

So far, I don't see any open suggestions related to the restriction of viewing. Still, again, we only researched Compass as a product and have not yet implemented it in a live environment so I might have missed something.

Potentially, you could reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss this with them, and they could maybe create a new suggestion based on your requirements.

Cheers,
Tobi

Hi Tobi,

thank you for the hint unless somebody else has an idea we will reach out to support.

Thank you,

Victor
