I get that this is largely user error, however it would be nice to have the following: some sort of check in place that alerted the user in the following scenario. What I did was create a component and start building out pieces. It did the auto-generate compass.yml PR in my github repo (cool 👍). I continued to configure my component in compass, prior to approving the PR in GH. Without thinking, I jumped over to GH, approved the PR and then watched as all my recent work went out the door. It would be ✨✨ if there was a check in place to prevent folks from doing this. I imagine that I'm not the only person that's going to do this...
