I am not able to get the compass app from app store

Clicking on the get started button in the App Store redirects to a error page with

We were unable to load this page for you

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

Atlassian recently announced that Compass is being retired. As part of that sunset timeline, Compass became unavailable to all new customers as of May 13, 2026.

You are trying to register or activate a new Compass instance after the May 13th deadline. The Atlassian App Store is blocking the provisioning process, causing the "unable to load this page" error.

Do not try to force Compass to install since its support ends in December 2027. Instead, explore Atlassian DX. Atlassian is moving all of Compass's core capabilities, like the software component catalog and scorecards, into the DX platform. If you want those tracking features for your team, look for the DX app or subscription in your admin portal.

👉 Note that Compass is being phased out (you can read more about that here — The Next Chapter for Compass).

That being said, I'm not sure if users can 'start' or add a new Compass app to their site; although there was never an announcement that this wouldn't be possible.

So, did you try to navigate to https://admin.atlassian.com/Atlassian appsAdd app and select Compass? (if it's still displayed there)

Alternatively, you can go to the Compass landing page https://www.atlassian.com/software/compass and click on "Get it free today," which should redirect you to add it to your existing site 👀

I have tried from all the links you mentioned, every time at the last step where it says get started, click the button and same error page shows up

If I inspect the network tab it says "Compass activations are not supported"
