Giving Access to Compass

Hi all,

If we were to enable the Compass Alpha for our Atlassian account, what are the permissions options?

Would only the people in the Atlassian Team we assign to Compass have access? Or would it be more open for anyone in our Confluence/Jira to start using Compass?

Are there elevated permissions for Compass that wouldn't impact Confluence + Jira? Allowing a current non-admin of other Atlassian tools have more abilities in Compass?

Thanks!

👋 Thanks for the question @Robert Johnson

As of right now we've got a pretty flat permissions model, with normal users having access to create, edit and delete Components, Scorecards and Teams. We've also got an Admin role in Compass which is able to add/remove Apps to Compass. We've intentionally tried to make Compass as open as possible to all members of your organisation, so that everyone can find the Components they're looking for, and improve the health of your teams.

You can control who has access to Compass and who is in those roles by going to https://admin.atlassian.com/ and accessing the Product Access option in the left menu. You can also create groups here to give access independently of other products like Confluence and Jira.
