When I selected “Other” under “Criteria Requiring Connection” in the “DevOps Health” scorecard, an error message appeared stating, “An error occurred while loading connection options.” Could you please advise on the cause and how to resolve this issue?

This seems to be a bug in the app itself. I just tried to replicate this, and I've managed to do so on two different browsers.
So, as Ajay said, I'd recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support and raising a ticket there.
Note that you need to have a paid plan to raise a new ticket.
The support team can review this behavior and probably create a new bug report based on their findings. 👈

This sounds more like a product/UI issue than a normal configuration mistake, especially if the error only appears when “Other” is selected.
A few things I’d check first:
- confirm the scorecard is being edited by a scorecard owner or a Compass product admin
- try the same action in an incognito window or a second browser
- test whether the same error happens in another scorecard or with another component type
If permissions are correct and the problem is isolated to the “Other” option, I’d raise an Atlassian support ticket with the site URL, scorecard name, affected component type, screenshot, exact timestamp, and a HAR capture. At that point it looks more like a product-side defect than a setup issue.
