Compass-internal labels

Keith Furnell

Compass seems to apply some component labels for its own purposes, e.g.:

  • source:github
  • synced-with-jsm
  • csv-import

Will it cause Compass problems if these labels are removed from our components and if so could the ability to hide them from users be provided?

Hi, @Keith Furnell !

The labels you mentioned, such as source:github, synced-with-jsm, and csv-import, are indeed added to help users filter and locate components more easily. However, rest assured that these labels don't affect Compass's functionality or logic in any way.

If you find that removing these labels makes your workflow smoother, feel free to do so - there shouldn't be any issues. We appreciate your feedback on wanting the option to hide or not add these labels and I will make sure to pass your suggestion along to our team for consideration.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can help with!
