we are playing around with atlassian compass and the bitbucket integration. We try to get the DORA Metrics for our components, but are wondering how to achieve them completely?!
Is "mean time to recovery" the same in atlassian compass "mean time to resolve"? We don't any data inside that. For change failure rate we need to push the metrics via curl, but which one exactly and where at best? Part of the bibucket pipeline? and for Lead time for changes I don't find anything at all...
Same for availability, what would be best practice? Using something like argo workflows and scheduled job to send a post request using prometheus / blackbox exporter data?
Would be nice to get some insides, examples and best practices how to create a good developer experience dashboard around DORA in atlassian compass.
@Daniel Konold Atlassian DX should provide you with all of this. Have you looked into this now that Atlassian offer DX as part of its software collection.
@Brant Schroeder - is DX already available even, i.e. can it somehow be trialed like other Atlassian products apps? I can only see the ominous 'Contact Sales' button on the (likewise not yet available) Software Collection that nobody outside of Enterprise procurement processes wants to press usually ...
