Assistance Required to Restrict Duplicate Component Creation

Hello Team,

We attempted to create a component but noticed that duplicate components with the same name have been created in Compass.

Could you please guide us on how we can apply restrictions to prevent duplicate components from being created?

Hi @testpinaack, component names are not unique. It looks like those 2 components have a different descriptions so it doesn't appear they were duplicated but rather 2 components named 'testing' were created. Hope this helps!

With regards to permissions, an admin can update the permissions for restricts parts of the app: https://support.atlassian.com/compass/docs/how-do-compass-permissions-work/

Additionally, there is an in-flight project that will give admins more granular controls over permissions and actions that users can take.
