Well hello there, Atlassian Community! Fancy seeing you here in our beautiful connected experience. 🤩 We couldn’t give the Community a facelift and leave Kudos out of the fun, so without further ado here are some new and exciting opportunities in the new age of our Forums!

Become a Profile Pro ✨

Have you checked out your shiny new profile yet? I’m partial to the new Badges showcase personally, but maybe I’m biased! 😉 Take a peek at all of your badges in one place, link your certifications, and update your bio + links - there’s nothing like keeping your details as fresh as possible! Update your profile before or during Team '25 to become a Profile Pro, earn 200 bonus points, and an exclusive badge to boot!

Beautified Badges are rolling out!

Our paintbrushes have been hard at work making the Community Forums, Learning, and Events experience as gorgeous as we can and if you know me, you know I couldn’t let our badges be left out of the fun! Starting today, you’ll notice a steady roll out of Kudos badges getting a facelift too 😍

There is no action needed in order to for you to see these updated badges in tour trophy case - we just didn’t want them to be a surprise! Share your favorite badge design you’ve received in the thread for some bonus Kudos from yours truly 💙

ICYMI, calling all Standout Specialists!

I don’t know about y’all, but I find a lot of joy in all of the weird tidbits, pro tips, and fun facts I carry around in my brain regarding incredibly niche topics - whether it’s pigeons singing in very obscure time signatures, Netflix being older than Google, or Antarctica being classified as a “desert” we all have something special to share!

So some good news for our Compass, Crowd, Fisheye/Crucible, and Sourcetree fans - you can now earn up to 75 bonus points a day for sharing your expertise and answering questions in those categories (each Standout Specialist answer is worth 25 points, and you can earn the bonus up to 3 times a day)!

In the meantime, and coming soon:

We’ve improved the tracking of the recognition Kudos you’ve received in your profile, but in the process we lost the button on other user’s profiles to sent them Kudos directly - we are aware that this functionality is missing and are working towards wider solutions for recognizing your peers.

In the meantime, you can still search for another user in the Kudos tray to recognize them for all of our standard categories or hover over another’s username in comments or the main feed to recognize them directly from the hovercard. 🙂

Our upcoming Kudos releases should include more exciting news in this department so stay tuned and see you next time, Kudos pals! 👋🏻
