It’s time for Likes for Trees V: help us to plant more trees than ever before! 🌳

We’re back with our favourite time of year here on the Atlassian Community: our annual Likes for Trees campaign! So whether it’s your first year or your fifth, you can turn everyday community actions into real-world impact throughout July. 💙

We’re continuing our partnership with One Tree Planted, and this year we have our biggest goal yet: plant 60,000 trees. We’ll be supporting reforestation projects around the world, and you can help us get there with a few simple actions across the Atlassian Community.

This year, we're running the campaign a little differently to accommodate the changing costs of planting trees. Instead of a voting poll, we've worked with One Tree Planted to hand-pick reforestation projects across the globe. So, the trees you help plant will be distributed as widely as possible! We’ll be supporting:

• Assam Afforestation in India

• Wildfire Restoration in California, USA

• Native Forest Restoration in Kenya

• High Andes Polylepis Forest Conservation and Restoration in the Andes across Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador & Peru

• Renature Leiria Reforestation in Portugal

Through your actions on the Atlassian Community we’ll be supporting diverse ecosystems and communities worldwide! 🌍

Are you ready to start planting?! Here are 5 actions you can take on the Community that all contribute:

1. Like any piece of content on the forums. Whether it’s a post, an article or a comment, by hitting that like button you can plant a tree.
   Looking for content to like? Tell us what tree you would be, and then like all the comments! 

2. RSVP to plant a tree. Find an Atlassian Community Event to join in July, and by RSVPing you’ll contribute to planting trees.

3. Join & reply in the Training & Certification group. Join Training & Certification group if you haven’t already, and join the conversation on the article: Check out five things you may not know about Rovo. We’ll plant a tree for every reply and every group join!

4. Send recognition to other users. Award your peers with recognition kudos in the kudos tray - they’ll get 100 kudos points and you’ll plant a tree.

5. Share a piece of community content on LinkedIn with the hashtag #LikesForTrees and encourage your network to join us. Every share helps spread the word and adds to our tree planting count.
   Need help on what to post? You can and share this message: “I’m helping the Atlassian Community plant 60,000 trees for Likes for Trees V. Like, RSVP, send Kudos, reply, or share with #LikesForTrees to plant a tree with us!”

Our 2026 goal is super ambitious, but we know how powerful this community is! One tree can be planted with one action from you, and together all of our actions can become 60,000 trees. Let’s grow something amazing! 🌳
